Born and raised in Calgary, Alexis Hope (she/her) is an award-winning performer, writer and producer. After graduating from the VanArts Acting for Film & TV program, she went on to co-found Girls That Giggle Productions, a Vancouver-based, women-led indie film production company. She thrives on creating, and collaborating on, projects that highlight Black experiences, particularly Black joy, womanhood, and her faith. Recent stage credits: Shrek The Musical (RCMT); Die Harsh: A Christmas Musical (Grindstone Theatre); The Mad Ones (Sherwood Theatre); Sister Act (Theatre In The Country); Monster (Direct Theatre Collective); Parade (Raincity Theatre); The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (CTORA).
